Traditional Brands at Dajia Mastu Pilgrimage Festival(Source: MOEA)

This year, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs joined hands with Dajia Jenn Lann Temple to host the Dajia Matsu culture and creative brands bazaar. The aim of the bazaar was to popularize and promote traditional products of Taiwan. This year marks the 12th year of the Dajia Matsu Pilgrimage Procession in Taiwan. In celebration of this special event, the Industrial Development Bureau, in cooperation with the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan Textile Research Institute, Taiwan Textile Federation, Footwear &Recreation Technology Research Institute, and Stone & Resource Industry R&D Center, furthermore, which were produced by Kangaroo Wallaby International Company, Cho Chia Ting Towel Company, Dong Fong Company, and Manji Company designed and manufactured a pilgrimage procession merchandise set. The set contained a water-resistant drawstring bag, a sports towel made of 100% cotton, a monotone color T-shirt of breathable fabric, and a pair of multifunctional socks. The merchandise set bore the Matsu's spirit with fashionable logo, and was designed to meet the procession needs. It is great for personal use or as collector’s item for this unique religion festival. The bazaar had 40 booths with Taiwan traditional products, including shoes, bags, suitcases, umbrellas, clothes, towels, beddings, socks, protective clothing, and deep ocean water, which were sold over the Tomb Sweeping holiday. It was a remarkable opportunity to display Taiwan’s traditional excellent quality products.
