Knowledge management is a basic skill corporations need for the development of big data. On September 10-11, the Industrial Development Bureau held the "2015 International Conference on Knowledge Management" and invited special consultant to YAMATO Holdings Co., Ltd, Mr. Aritomi Keigi (有富慶二) , Mr. Nakamura Tatsuo (中村達生), president of VALUENEX Inc., and Mr. Hanadou Yasuhito (花堂靖仁), director of the Knowledge Management Society of Japan, to share their experiences on knowledge management and big data.
Mr. Aritomi, who was once president of YAMATO Holdings Co., Ltd, discussed the use of knowledge management in the development of sustainable management strategies. Mr. Nakamura explored the use of big data to identify business strengths when developing a corporation, and Mr. Hanadou shared how Integrated Reporting (IR) facilitated by knowledge management could promote enterprise development.
Finally, local knowledge management guru Professor Hsu Shih-Chun (許士軍) hosted a forum where international experts and representatives of more than 100 domestic enterprises participated in a full and frank exchange of ideas and experiences.
