Cooperation Between CONQUER and ITRI Team,A Brain New Issue on Passivate Components Fields(Source:MOEA)

A real Taiwanese champion, the top fuse supplier in Taiwan and also one of the top three in the whole world, CONQUER used to consist of a small plant. By upgrading its technology, CONQUER transferred to manufacturing fuses according to high-tech industry demands. Furthermore, assisted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, they introduced low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology advanced by ITRI. Developing next-generation chip ceramic fuses, they made sure they had the technology superiority to be leaders in the international market. The Industrial Development Bureau is facing the new challenge of Taiwan’s manufacturing industry, with proactive movement. Hoping to help the industry upgrade, and to be pioneers of Taiwan’s economic development, CONQUER is the right paragon, with the assistance of the Industrial Development Bureau, in cooperation with the Material and Chemical Research Laboratories, ITRI, based on low temperature co-firing technology, minimized the traditional fuse to the size of a pen. With patterns in many countries, they can replace foreign technological products and have passed the certification of international companies, becoming one of the world’s top-three professional fuse manufactories. The chairman of CONQUER said that, when technology progresses, original fuses are insufficient. Traditional fuse manufacturers have been leaving Taiwan. However, CONQUER insisted on keeping core technology in Taiwan, letting products made in Taiwan (MIT) gain a world-wide reputation. To realize this ideal, traditional fuse transformation is the first step, producing fuses that fit high-tech industry. By cooperating with the Chemical Research Laboratories and ITRI, CONQUER developed passive components with various specifications, and were furthermore certified by UL and Sony Green Partner. Except for products have been made, next-generation smart fuses (ifuses) have been developed by the patent licensing of ITRI with intended current overload protection for voltage and current bi-functional protection applications. This technology is focused on electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, lithium batteries and solar cells. It can be also used in portable mobile power back products, with both energy conservation and safety.
