Ministry of Economic Affairs awarded long lasting manufacturers with over four decades of history at the 69th Industrial Festival(Source:MOEA)

The 69th Industrial Festival was hosted at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hotel at 1:50 p.m. on November 11. President Ma Ying-jeou and Minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs John Chen-Chung Deng both attended and delivered a speech. Minister Deng conferred the Medal of Economic Contribution to Mr. Yeu Ho of the Chinese National Federation of Industries, and Deputy Director-General of Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) presented awards and trophies to the manufacturers with lasting success of over forty and fifty decades. The Ministry of Economic Affairs confers upon Mr. Yeu Ho the Medal of Economic Contribution, in recognition of his key role as a board member of the Chinese National Federation of Industries. His active participation in the formulation of policies for labor, health care, social welfare, long-term care, tax reform, population control, and professional training, as well as his critical role as the bridge among government, industry, labor, and education fields is irreplaceable. Many important policies are in place, and many conflicts have been resolved because of his efforts. The Ministry of Economic Affairs awarded historically fine manufacturers in appreciation of their contribution to business development and employment. This year, 349 firms with forty years of history and 1 firm with fifty years were awarded.
