The Industrial Development Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affairs is holding the 2015 Industrial Park Greenness Excellence Presentation and Recognition to improve the industrial parks under its administration, enhance the park suppliers’ intent to jointly promote and participate in the adoption of park public facility greenness, thereby to improve the overall environmental quality and lower the discreet sensations of the public toward the industrial parks. The IDB expects to promote the units of greenness excellence in the industrial parks through incentives to upgrade landscape design, plantation techniques, maintenance, and management performance for industrial park greenness. Sichuan face-off opera was played at the opening ceremony to symbolize how the industrial parks remove the old and dark images of the past to a brand-new vision through the joint maintenance of suppliers and service centers. In this industrial park greenness excellence presentation and recognition, IDB not only publicly recognizes units of greenness excellence who set an example for service centers and suppliers in all industrial parks, but also promotes the transformation of the parks into ecology parks that combine ecology, life and production, and thereby building a quality industrial park image. Experts are also invited to the event to share their experience on the diagnosis and consultation of on-site appraisal at all industrial parks, providing greenness related administrators and suppliers with many substantial and useful knowledge in plant cultivation and maintenance. The concept of industrial park greenness is the key action in creating the development of industrial co-existence, win-win situation in environment quality, and the co-existence and co-prosperity between suppliers and the community. The IDB anticipates a future of sustainable parks to implement public facility greenness and build local new park environment.
