In order to transform Taiwan’s export model, the Ministry of Economic Affairs pre-selected 10 key system integration solutions and set up a “system integration promotion platform” in October. Relevant resources from different ministries will be consolidated to help overcome export barriers and combine external resources to promote international marketing and explore foreign markets. The Industrial Development Bureau announced today that, among the pre-selected 10 key system integration solutions, the government has assisted over 30 domestic companies that had been selling e-government solutions to form seven e-government system integration unions. Applications include those of smart government website, smart transportation, smart lighting, police security control, food safety, health care and smart community endeavors. The information technology services industry export unions’ launching ceremony was held on the 17th to express the determination of domestic companies to cooperate in order to conquer foreign markets.
