International Cooperation Department Director General Cynthia Kiang visited the Taipei Smart City Summit & Expo at the Taipei World Trade Center's Nangang Exhibition Hall on Mar. 22, 2016. This year's expo, whose theme is "Building Smart Cities on the IoT," showcases the application of the Internet of Things across a range of fields, including smart healthcare, smart offices, smart education, smart campuses, smart energy conservation and smart building. The aim of the event, being held March 22-25, is to bring together domestic and overseasgroups and individuals who share the vision of driving the development of the IoT and smart cities.
