Taichung Software Park (TSP) has enormous potential for further development. And its total investment figures amounted to NT$7 billion.(Source:MOEA)

The Export Processing ZoneAdministration (EPZA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) convened aninvestment application review meeting on 26thNovember 2015. Four new investment applications,including Li Bao Industrial Co., Ltd., Rui Ding Technology Co., Ltd., SaysingInformation System Co., Ltd., and Syncia Technology Co., Ltd., were approved toinvest and station in TSP. And Kenwa Taiwan Co., Ltd. was approved to investand station in Kaohsiung Export Processing Zone (KEPZ). According to the EPZA, theland rental rate in TSP is already 100 percent. Until now TSP has imported twodevelopers including Yesoon Development Construction Co., Ltd., Bigbuyerdevelopment Co., Ltd., and two software companies including Data SystemsConsulting Co., Ltd. and Wanin International Co., Ltd. that rented land forbuilding their own modern buildings. In addition, TSP approved thirteen manufacturersthat purchased buildings from its developers and seventeen manufacturers'investments. The total investment figure amounted to a little bit over NT$ 7billion. According to the EPZA, Li Bao International Co., Ltd. invested NT$35 million and applied for setting up in TSP. It provides development andmaintenance services of POS (point-of-sale) systems, company profiles' datamining analysis services, and related customized technical support services. Inthe future, Li Bao International Co., Ltd. will develop towards cloud systems, makingits POS systems to be operated on PCs, tablets, mobile phones, and it can be uploadedto the internet at the same time. Rui Ding Technology Co., Ltd. invested NT$ 27.7 million andapplied for stationing in TSP, providing various services for pneumatic handtools including in-process controls, technical cooperation, product design,RD, and sales. Since Re Dai Precision Tools Co., Ltd., which is theaffiliates of Rui Ding Technology Co., Ltd., provided technical guidance andcooperation, Rui Ding Technology Co., Ltd. has owned different technicalsupports and raw materials, and its product quality has reached international standard.After entering TSP, Rui Ding Technology Co., Ltd. will make technicalcooperation with electronics, precision instrument as well as medicalindustries, and it will open up hand tools' various business opportunities. Saysing Information System Co., Ltd. invested NT$ 25 million andapplied for setting up in TSP. It provides development, distribution, systemplanning, and construction services of anti-virus software and hardware. Accordingto Saysing Information System Co., Ltd., by cooperation or research alliances, itwill work with ICT and cloud technology industries, and assisted industries incentral Taiwan to upgrade information security. With good publicity and visionof Taichung Software Park, Saysing Information System Co., Ltd. will expand to manageits multinational enterprises and develop in Chinese markets in Asia. SYNCiA Technology Co., Ltd. invested NT$ 18 million and appliedfor setting up in TSP, providing services such as water supply pipe networkspressure monitoring, cloud system of waste water online monitoring, and RDsupport of intelligent robots. Facing the global water shortage crisis, everygovernment cared a lot about water leakage problems of water supply pipenetworks. In addition, SYNCiA Technology Co., Ltd. invested in waste wateronline monitoring cloud systems, and it will build a service team, which uses informationtechnologies and provides professional heterogeneous integration, aiming formoving towards the internationalization and globalization. The Japanese company, Kenwa Co., Ltd., invested NT$ 5 million andapplied for setting up Kenwa Taiwan Co., Ltd. in Kaohsiung Export ProcessingZone (KEPZ). Kenwa Taiwan Co., Ltd. provides services in wholesale, imports,and exports of metal construction tools. For the purpose of expanding marketsin Taiwan ASEAN countries, it will make close cooperation with Goal Co., Ltd.in KEPZ. The EPZA also indicated that the orientation of Taichung SoftwarePark is the knowledge-based economic park. In addition, the government set uphigh efficient one-stop services for companies in zones. It is hoped the industrialclustering in TSP produces good results and makes significant cornerstones forcompanies' long term development. Last but not least, this will also improve furthereconomic development of innovative technologies, software industries, and thegreater metropolitan area in central Taiwan.
