Taipei, May 23, 2016 -- Industrial production index posted an annual decrease of 4.06% in April. Referring to the production status of each industry, manufacturing decreased 4.50%, mining & quarrying decreased 5.62%, electricity & gas supply increased 16.11%, water supply increased 4.35%, and buildings construction decreased 23.01%.
