In the development history of the resource recycling industry, Japan is the most valuable model for Taiwan. A new plant in Taiwan, invested in by a Japanese waste–to-resource company, was started in March of this year. Later, on May 25, Rui Da Hung Technology Materials Co., Ltd. from Taiwan and Hanwa Co., Ltd. from Japan signed a cooperation agreement in Tokyo, witnessed by IDB Chief Secretary You Jhen-wei. According to this supply agreement, 1,500 tons of recycled tin ingot, with an annual output value of NT$850 million, will be contributed to the recycling industry.
Rui Da Hung has s experience in the tin metal recycling process, melting tin purification and other related manufacturing processes since 2002, with the government policy of industrial waste recycling. High-value tin and lead ingot production technology has been developed to meet international raw metal material supply regulations. In 2016, Rui Da Hung aims to produce 99.99% (4N) tin metal, and has been audited by CFSI as not using tin material from conflicting metal areas based on the EICC and GeSI.
This cooperation agreement between Rui Da Hung and Hanwa is proof of Taiwan's metal recycling technology capabilities, as well as its ability to develop the regional circular economy and explore the global market with the complementarity between the recycling industries in Taiwan and Japan.
