Australia-Taiwan Business Council Chairman Ross Maddock and ATBC Chief Executive Officer Chin-Mei Tuan paid a visit to ROC Minister of Economic Affairs Chih-Kung Lee on Aug. 4, 2016. During their meeting, they discussed a range of issues, including Taiwan's "New Southbound Policy," potential bilateral industry and research institute cooperation under the government's five major innovative industries R&D program, Taiwan's bid to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership, as well as the upcoming Joint Conference of the Republic of China-Australia Business Council and Australia-Taiwan Business Council.
