The Tenth Taiwan Gold Print Awards Ceremony was held at the R7 Creative Hub in Kaohsiung. It was organized by the Industry Development Bureau at the Ministry of Economic Affairs(MOEA), and close to one hundred representatives from industry, government, and award winners gathered and showed the new vigor of Taiwan’s printing industry.
The award categories included: Book Printing, Magazine Printing , Poster and Category Printing, Packaging Printing, the Digital Printing Application, as well as the Other Printing. The winners included 28 printing companies. JIYI Printing Art International Co., Ltd. won the first and second prizes in the Book Printing of Hardcover category. In the Magazine Printing and Poster as well as Category Printing, Crony Information Technology Co., Ltd. was the biggest winner and won several prizes. In the Printing Industry Contribution Awards, the winners were Mr. Chen Teng-Tsai( founder of Teng-Tsai Art Printing Co., Ltd.) and Mr. Chen, Tung-Chin(founder of ATMA Champ ENT. CORP. ). In the Technology Innovation Award, the winner was Sun Sui Print & Graphic Center, which is a leading iconic company that emphasizes research and development in 3D effect printing.
In the future, the Industry Development Bureau at the Ministry of Economic Affairs will continue to integrate marketing strategy and support resources to assist the printing industry to develop toward the direction of products innovation with the added value of technological aesthetics, as well as leading Taiwan’s printing industry to expand into overseas exhibitions, creating an image of "Printed In Taiwan" equating high quality print.
