Taipei, September 27, 2016 -- Industrial production index posted an annual increase of 7.74% in August. Referring to the production status of each industry, manufacturing increased 8.35%, mining & quarrying increased 2.14%, electricity & gas supply decreased 10.28%, water supply increased 1.48%, and buildings construction increased 28.12%.
