In the first session, venture capitalists and managers who work in agencies providing services of IP technologies shared their insights on various issues, such as the important factors in commercializing patent technology, valuation of IP assets, IP matching services, and IP laws. The speakers not only provided tips on the use of IP for those who work for schools, but also showed the achievements of the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, which has set up a platform for qualified IP companies to share resources and connect with schools and businesses for future cooperation. In the second session, companies that had received counsel from the government shared their successful experiences in working with schools on the commercialization of patent technology, in the hope of facilitating IP commercialization.
