ITC Institutes a Final Injury Investigation and Will Conduct a Hearing Concerning the Antidumping Case on Carbon Steel Plate from Brazil, Mainland China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine(Source:MOEA)

Following an affirmative final determination by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) that imports of carbon steel plate from Brazil, Mainland China, India, Indonesia, Korea and Ukraine are being dumped in the R.O.C., the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs instituted its final investigation on November 29, 2016 to determine whether the domestic industry concerned in the R.O.C. is materially injured, or is threatened with material injury by the above mentioned dumped imports. In order to proceed with the final injury investigation of this case, the ITC will conduct a hearing to provide an opportunity for face-to-face communication between domestic producers, foreign producers, importers, and other interested parties. The hearing will be held on December 28, 2016, 9:30 a.m., at the Application and Certification Building of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, which is located at No.4, Sec.1, Jinan Rd., Taipei, Taiwan (R.O.C.).
