In order to assist Taiwanese companies in developing new Asia-Pacific markets such as ASEAN and South Asian countries, as well as to create export opportunities for ICT applications, the Ministry of Economy Affairs (MOEA) hosted the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards), the most important ICT competition in Asia. It is held from December 2nd to December 5th at the Grand Hotel Taipei.
