IDC organizes Israeli innovative start-ups and IoT seminar(Source:MOEA)

The Israeli Innovative Start-ups & International IoT Trends Seminar co-organized by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Commerce Development Research Institute was held at the CDRI on Dec. 21, 2016. CDRI Director General Chao-Jen Huang and Asher Yarden, representative of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, delivered opening remarks at the event. This was followed by presentations on "Israel Innovation Eco-System" and "Internet of Things Overview and Israeli IoT Startup Landscape" by Hovav Ref, senior director and head of Investor Relations at the Israeli Ministry of Economy's Foreign Investments and Industrial Cooperation Division, and Nir Flatau, co-founder and general manager of the Israeli firm ExtremeIoT. Participants engaged in enthusiastic discussions on the topics of the presentations afterwards. Ref and Flatau also visited several government agencies and private associations during their stay in Taiwan.
