Ministry of Economic Affairs Promotes New Market Channel for Creative Life Industry with Grand Opening of "Senseco"(Source:MOEA)

To promote the development of Taiwan's creative life industry, the MOEA-IDB established "Senseco", a cultural creative cross-industry platform that promotes the business channels for the creative life industry. The platform is a point for businesses that, brings together the fine products of Taiwan's cultural creative industry and its outstanding creative life businesses, and demonstrates the features of the taste -convergence between the creative life industry and the cultural creative industry. The t Three points of business for the Senseco platform are the: Jia Jia West Market Hotel, Red Barn Factory and Tours, and the Kuo Yuan Ye Museum of Cake and Pastry, which will are the first to be set up this year. Additionally, a total of 53 businesses from the creative life industry are have been selected by the IDB this year (2016) as the models for developing creative life businesses. The IDB held a "Cultural Creative Cross-Industry Platform Opening Ceremony cum Award Recognition Event for the Creative Life Businesses" at Jia Jia West Market Hotel in Tainan on December 26. The event was expected to string together creative life business points and the local features, providinge the chance to enhance cross-industry multi-cooperation business opportunities, help strengthen the soft power of Taiwan's cultural creative industry, and help promote Taiwan's rich cultural characteristics and innovative capability. The MOEA-IDB has been promoting the "Creative Life Industry Development Program", which encourages business operators to develop creative ideas by getting gaining inspiration from everyday living, to blending innovative thinking and cultural implications into business models, and to formulatinge the enterprise's unique business style. With the help of the Senseco event, "Cultural Creative Cross-Industry Platform Opening Ceremony cum Award Recognition Event for the Creative Life Businesses", the operations of the creative life business points and their achievements are have been affirmed, and the development of the creative life industry is has been expanded. This program utilizes the existing creative life business as the a base for the selling of fine cultural creative products. It is expected that, next year, there will be more businesses interested in investing in the development of the creative life business. Thus, the soft power of Taiwan's cultural creative industry and its unique sales channel may be strengthened, thereby, laying solidifying the cultural position of Taiwan's cultural creative industry, and enhancing the value of the creative life industry.
