Department of International Cooperation Deputy Director General Shih-Chou Huang received a visiting delegation of Irish senators on Sept. 8, 2017. During the meeting, they discussed the mutually complementary industry structure of the two countries, the importance of Taiwan-Ireland economic and trade ties, the relations between Taiwan and Mainland China as well as signing the Bilateral Investment Agreement between Taiwan and EU.
